Seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a leading electronics manufacturing facility specializing in advanced solder alloy production and metal reclamation.

Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established heavy manufacturing company in the Altoona, Pennsylvania area. This organization operates a specialized facility focusing on tin/lead smelting, electronics solder manufacturing, and metal reclamation processes. With approximately 100 employees and a strong union environment, they offer excellent job security and advancement opportunities in a stable industrial setting.

What You'll Do:
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including 480-volt/3-phase industrial power
  • Perform mechanical maintenance on furnaces, control panels, and production equipment
  • Execute welding tasks for equipment repair and fabrication needs
  • Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems throughout the facility
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on smelting lines, baghouse systems, and material handling equipment
  • Work with PLCs, HMIs, and AC/DC drives for equipment optimization
  • Handle general facility maintenance including plumbing and HVAC systems
  • Operate forklifts and man-lifts as needed for maintenance activities
What You'll Bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training)
  • 3+ years of multicraft industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with 480V/3-phase systems
  • Experience with mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Welding capabilities (stick and MIG)
  • Valid driver's license for equipment operation
  • Flexibility to work ANY shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) based on union seniority
  • Ability to work in heavy industrial environment with PPE requirements
