Industrial Maintenance Technician - $24.73 - $30.13 3rd Shift

Pay: $24.73 - $30.13

Schedule: Monday - Friday (10:00 PM to 6:30 AM), with some weekend work and overtime.

Qualified candidates must be dependable, able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required. They may also be required to pass an aptitude test. Responsibilities include general housekeeping, cleanup, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication, power washing, lifting and hauling items, dump rework, and operating a forklift and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Primary Duties

• Complete work orders as assigned
• Maintain neat and clean work areas
• Work safely and follow SOPs, including lockout procedures
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) on assigned areas
• Complete daily and monthly PMs
• Assist others with job tasks
• Identify and suggest mechanical improvements
• Perform necessary mechanical repairs when possible
• Eliminate unsafe conditions and practices
• Accurately complete downtime sheets and GMP logs
• Be available to be on call on weekends when required
• Rewire electrical components such as buckets and motors

Primary Objectives

• Work proactively with line operators and supervisors to maintain line operation
• Complete work orders promptly

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Basic computer skills for data entry
• Ability to operate and understand packaging and manufacturing equipment
• Strong communication skills
• Desire to advance in the Maintenance Department
• Ability to operate forklifts, scissors lifts, zoom booms, and sky tracs
• Basic mechanical skills
• Strong industrial electrical background for rewiring electrical components
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment by connecting laptops
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, work in confined spaces and at heights

Additional Requirements

• Ability to analyze information quickly and troubleshoot equipment failures
