Staffmark is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance to keep production moving safely and efficiently. Compensation is $28.00–$35.00 per hour on the 1st shift.

The position requires reading manuals/diagrams, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality. Technicians own their tools and contribute to a safety-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school, vocational training, or industrial maintenance certification preferred.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, blueprints, or equipment documentation.
• Must own all hand tools and follow safety/quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative maintenance for tools, equipment, trucks, carts, forklifts, and facilities.
• Read equipment literature and troubleshoot.
• Search for replacement parts and replace when received.
• Participate in mechanical assembly when needed.
• Keep work areas organized, safe, and clean.
• Troubleshoot mechanically and electrically and take appropriate action.
• Perform facilities repairs and maintenance as directed.
