Job summary

Pro Resources Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity on the first shift.

The role offers a stable Monday–Friday schedule with potential for direct hire after 90 days based on attendance and performance. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems; forklift operation; and maintaining accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Welding and torch operation experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Forklift experience preferred (training provided if needed).
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and safety procedures.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors when required.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on equipment and facility systems.
• Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components.
• Perform basic electrical, painting, and carpentry repairs as needed.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to safely load and unload materials.
• Complete maintenance records, work orders, and other required documentation.
• Package, label, and prepare materials for shipment.
• Conduct pre-operational safety inspections on equipment and tools.
• Train operators on preventative maintenance requirements when necessary.
• Assist with general housekeeping and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
