Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Peachtree City, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex manufacturing equipment. You will support production, participate in line changes, and ensure safe operations.

The role requires good problem-solving, detail orientation, and the ability to work both independently and in teams. The position is on first shift, with schedule flexibility and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous Manufacturing Maintenance experience required.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements, mechanical, electrical, and PLC controlled systems is required.
• Basic skills in reading and comprehension of electrical schematics and pneumatic/hydraulic principles and diagrams are also necessary.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles such as voltage and current.
• Experience troubleshooting machines, i.e., PLC, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Technicians must be flexible with regard to schedule and travel requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have initiative and ability to effectively manage assigned workMust be able to work successfully with others in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and adherence to best-practices.

Responsibilities

• Performs equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Works with production departments to troubleshoot and repair equipment problems
• Supports the maintenance inventory system by looking up and researching parts needed to maintain production equipment and to keep track of all parts used
• Performs duties safely and ensures the safety of others by wearing proper protective equipment, following Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, and complying with other safety practices and procedures
• Assists in special projects and changes to existing lines and in the set-up of new lines
• Attends maintenance training courses on site and off site
• Supports the production lines on a daily-needs basis

Base Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM Saturdays based on business needs
