Job summary

Sunny Sky Products, based in Illinois, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sustain and repair plant facilities and production equipment on a 6:30 AM–3:00 PM shift with overtime as needed. The role includes preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and supervising on-site contractors to ensure safe, efficient operation.

Requirements include technical training in mechanical/electrical fields and 3–5 years of experience, with knowledge of PLC and CMMS considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical training in mechanical/electrical fields required.
• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of PLC and CMMS beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled.
• Repair and adjust plant facilities and equipment.
• Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

• Adhere to SQF and GMP procedures.

We have generated an extensive product portfolio that includes frozen dispensed beverages, cold dispensed, hot dispensed and beverage enhancers.

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, will be responsible for maintaining the working condition of the plant facilities and production equipment during the assigned shift. This is accomplished through performance of scheduled maintenance activities, completing repairs and adjustments as reported by the plant operators, or through the direction of the Production Supervisor and/or Plant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule.
• Perform adjustments and repairs to plant facilities and equipment, as needed.
• Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify potential issues.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
• Oversee contractors on-site for maintenance and facility activities.
• Adhere to SQF, and GMP procedures.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve equipment performance.
• Other responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Requirements

Hours

• Monday through Friday from 6:30AM to 3PM
• 8-hour shift plus mandatory overtime. (working 10hrs max a day)

Salary

• $25.00 - 30.00 per hour based on experience
