Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for first shift at a specialized industrial processing facility. You will diagnose mechanical problems, perform preventive maintenance, and respond quickly when equipment goes down.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, millwright, equipment-repair, or maintenance-mechanic work.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair ability.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools and industrial maintenance equipment.
• Ability to diagnose problems rather than relying on step-by-step instruction.
• Ability to read equipment manuals, diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Experience with pumps, motors, conveyors, valves, or similar processing equipment.
• Dependable attendance and consistent availability for first shift.

A specialized industrial processing facility is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep production, processing, packaging, and material-handling equipment operating reliably.

This is a hands‑on maintenance position for someone who can diagnose mechanical problems, complete preventive maintenance, and respond effectively when equipment goes down. The strongest candidates will bring previous manufacturing or industrial equipment‑repair experience and a practical, problem-solving mindset.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial production and processing equipment

• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and equipment inspections

• Respond to breakdowns and identify the source of mechanical failures

What We’re Looking For

• Previous industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, millwright, equipment‑repair, or maintenance‑mechanic experience

• Ability to diagnose problems rather than relying entirely on step‑by‑step instruction

• Ability to read equipment manuals, diagrams, and maintenance documentation

• Experience with pumps, motors, compressors, conveyors, valves, or similar processing equipment is valuable

• Dependable attendance and consistent availability for first shift

This is not an entry-level maintenance-helper position. Candidates need enough previous experience to independently complete common mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance.

Physical and Work Environment

• Industrial processing and manufacturing environment

• Extended standing and walking throughout the shift

• Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and climbing

• Regular lifting and handling of tools, parts, and equipment components

• Work around operating machinery, industrial noise, and changing temperatures

• Use of required personal protective equipment
