Job summary

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year industrial maintenance experience.
Able to perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting.
Must comply with lockout/tagout, confined space, and all safety programs.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and assets while following Tyson policies and procedures.
Provide troubleshooting and repair of mechanical malfunctions.
Document actions taken to correct equipment problems in writing.
Respond to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergency situations.
Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule.
Complete appropriate paperwork and reports.
Must be able to perform physical safety requirements and safety programs.
Must be able to perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Able to start all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision.
Assist other mechanics as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
