Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Aiken, SC is seeking a Service Technician to support a wide range of maintenance activities in a production plant.

You will troubleshoot and repair systems, partner with Engineering to install and test equipment, and maximize uptime for efficient operations. The ideal candidate has multi-craft experience across Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics, with PLC, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electronics or General Technology required.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program with relevant maintenance experience preferred.
• Multi-craft experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Electronics essential;PLC, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Be Safe— comply with all safety regulations.
• Partner with Engineering team to install, test, and release equipment.
• Maintain equipment for industrial production, processing, and conveyors.
• Work with PLCs and drive systems and perform troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Assist with calibrations and tests of machinery and sensors.
