Job summary

Stone Bridge Personnel is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a well-established client in the Tyler, TX area. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to maintain complex industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Heavy electrical experience is required, with hands-on expertise in welding, fabrication, PLC motor control, chillers, boilers, and air compressors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years welding and fabrication experience.
• 2+ years reading blueprints & schematics.
• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years PLC motor control experience.
• 2+ years with chillers, boilers & air compressors.
• 2+ years heavy electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs during production.
• Repair or produce parts using welders or shop machines—lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and other shop equipment.
• Repair LP-powered lift trucks and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Assemble, install, or repair electrical/electronic devices, pipe systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits using schematics and manuals.
• Record all work and parts in the CMMS.
• Ensure safe work practices and company policies are followed at all times.
• Must be willing and available to work any shift, including weekends.

About the Position

Stone Bridge is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a well-established client in the Tyler, TX area. The ideal candidate brings comprehensive mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to maintain industrial equipment and systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Heavy electrical experience is required — this role demands proven, hands‑on electrical skills, not just general maintenance.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures during production
• Repair or produce parts using welders or machine tools — lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and other shop equipment
• Perform repairs to LP-powered lift trucks and conduct preventative maintenance
• Assemble, install, or repair electrical/electronic devices, pipe systems, machinery, and equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits using schematics and manuals
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance as directed by supervisor
• Test all repairs and installations for correct functionality
• Record all work and parts in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
• Ensure safe work practices and company policies are followed at all times
• Must be willing and available to work any shift, including weekends

Qualifications — ALL Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years welding & fabrication
• 2+ years reading blueprints & schematics
• 2+ years industrial maintenance experience
• 2+ years PLC motor control experience
• 2+ years experience with chillers, boilers & air compressors
