Job summary

Sheridan is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations. This 2nd shift role runs 3:00 PM–11:30 PM with consistent weekday hours and a rotating on-call schedule, ideal for candidates with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing setting.

The position offers pay of $23.00/hour or higher, plus a $1.00/hour shift differential, with weekends on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
• Electrical knowledge including 120v single phase, 480v three phase, and 24 VDC power systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities, including fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Investigate recurring facility-oriented failures to identify solutions.
• Complete preventative, scheduled and emergency maintenance and repair work on facilities and equipment.
• Perform safety measures in the design and installation of equipment.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and materials for building and manufacturing operations.

Pay:

What You’ll Do:

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Follow up on and study recurring facility-oriented failures in an effort to find solutions.
• Complete all preventative, scheduled and emergency maintenance and repair work to facilities and equipment as required.
• Perform safety measures in the design and installation of equipment.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.

What We’re Looking For:

We are open to candidates from a variety of industrial maintenance environments, including manufacturing outside of print. Requirements include:
