Mission
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for developing and executing robust preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs to ensure the uninterrupted operation of manufacturing equipment, including mechanical coilers, CNC machines, ovens, grinding machines, and other devices. This role demands hands-on expertise in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, with a focus on cleaning, repairing, evaluating, and diagnosing issues to maintain equipment uptime, support production goals, and uphold safety and quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesPreventive Maintenance: Schedule and perform regular maintenance on CNCs, ovens, grinders, and mechanical equipment.
Corrective Repairs: Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues quickly.
Predictive Maintenance: Use tools like vibration analysis and thermography to identify failures early.
Program Development: Create SOPs and logs for maintenance tasks; ensure adherence to schedules.
Diagnostics: Troubleshoot equipment using multimeters, oscilloscopes, PLC software, etc.
Team Collaboration: Work with Production and Quality teams to meet ISO/IATF and safety standards.
Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA standards and conduct equipment safety checks.
Inventory Management: Maintain spare parts inventory and control costs.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend upgrades to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
