Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our New Oxford, PA Container facility. This 3rd shift role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment, with teamwork to perform preventive maintenance and breakdown response.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of industrial machinery troubleshooting, a technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades, and US work authorization; corrugated packaging

Qualifications

• 2+ years troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical Trades (plus).
• Ability to work shift work to support production schedules.
• Be Authorized to work in the US.
• Experience in the corrugated packaging or printing industry is a plus.

We are currently accepting resumes for a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician position in our New Oxford Container facility.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Range = $30.31 - $38.84 based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience.

Responsibilities

This position will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems on plant equipment.

Technicians work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities as well as answer break down calls in a Production Environment.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ Years' experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus.
• Ability to work shift work to support production schedules and Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.
• Be Authorized to work in the US.
• Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus.
