Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to install and maintain production machines and plant equipment at our New Berlin, WI site.

You will perform emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems and use a Multimeter to diagnose issues. Your responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing faults, replacing parts, and reporting anomalies to supervision.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years industrial maintenance, electrical and mechanical experience.
• High school diploma or vocational training.
• Knowledge of 480V 3-phase, 270V, 110V and 24V systems.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
• Glass industry experience is a plus.
• Proficient use of a Multimeter; VFD and PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and scheduled maintenance during service.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; repair production machines.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust as needed.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Identify faulty operations or unusual situations and report to supervision.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Performing highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Troubleshoot and repair of production machines.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Detect faulty operations or defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

Skills You Bring:

• Minimum 1-3 years industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical plant experience.
• Minimum high school education and/or vocational school
• Knowledge of 480v 3 phase/270v/110v/24v
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems
• Experience within the glass industry a plus
• Able to use Multimeter efficiently
• Highly proficient at troubleshooting electrical issues
• VFD programming knowledge preferred
• PLC output and input controls troubleshooting
• Knowledge of potentiometers/servos/drives/encoders
