Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role.
• Experienced level candidate required.
• No degree required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive maintenance, inspections, and installations for production and facility mechanical and electrical systems.
• Diagnose issues using testing devices and technical schematics, and execute repairs on production equipment.
• Install new systems and assist in upgrading existing mechanical and electrical equipment to improve efficiency, reliability, and safety compliance.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations, industry standards, food safety protocols, and proper housekeeping procedures.
• Maintain accurate CMMS records of all activities, and respond promptly to emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Partner with production and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations, and perform other duties as required.

Randstad is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for afood manufacturer in New Berlin, WI. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment and systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of production processes. This role is crucial for meeting production targets while adhering to food safety and quality standards.

salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per year

shift: Second

work hours: 1 PM - 9 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & PMs: Perform routine, preventive maintenance, inspections, and installations for production and facility mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose issues using testing devices and technical schematics, and execute repairs on production equipment.
• Installations & Upgrades: Install new systems and assist in upgrading existing mechanical and electrical equipment to improve efficiency, reliability, and safety compliance.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations, industry standards, food safety protocols, and proper housekeeping procedures.
• Documentation & Emergency Response: Maintain accurate CMMS records of all activities, and respond promptly to emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Collaboration & Other Duties: Partner with production and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations, and perform other duties as required.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
