Job summary

Mister Car Wash is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to keep our car wash sites running safely and efficiently. You’ll perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems.

You will travel across the market in a company vehicle to service multiple locations, respond to urgent repairs, and collaborate with regional teams on new equipment installations and technology rollouts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred).
• Electrical experience, incl. 3‑phase high‑voltage systems, low‑voltage systems, AC/DC electrical systems, control wiring, powered equipment.
• VFD and PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills to keep equipment performing at its best.
• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, and repairs on industrial car wash equipment.
• Diagnose and repair low- and high-voltage electrical systems, including control wiring and 3‑phase power.
• Travel across your market, in a company-provided vehicle, to complete scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs.
• Minimize downtime by responding quickly to breakdowns and equipment failures.
• Partner with regional teams on new equipment installations and technology rollouts.
• Build strong relationships with teammates who rely on your technical expertise.

You’re driven, hands‑on, and ready to be part of a team that gets things done. Ideally, you have:

• 2+ years of experience in industrial or production maintenance (breakdown experience preferred)
• Electrical experience, including exposure to:
• 3‑phase high‑voltage systems
• Low‑voltage systems
• AC/DC electrical systems
• Control wiring and powered equipment
• VFD and PLC troubleshooting (preferred)
• Solid skills in at least four of the following areas:
• Electrical
• Mechanical
• Hydraulics
• Welding
• Pneumatics
• Plumbing
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to multitask and respond quickly in fast-paced environments
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and on‑call hours
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physical capability to perform the job (lift up to 75 lbs., bend, crawl, and climb ladders)
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required upon hire)
