Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc. in Jackson Center, OH is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our high-demand production lines running on a 12-hour shift (3-2-2 schedule).

You’ll be the go-to expert for assigned lines, solving problems and performing preventative maintenance. We value hands-on technicians with 3+ years of experience, strong hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on elevated platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial manufacturing machinery.
• Solid grasp of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and solve problems
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on aerial platforms up to 20 ft.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repairing complex manufacturing equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance and rebuilding spare parts.
• Participating in efficient changeovers to keep production humming.
• Completing advanced technical trainings to earn new certifications.

Shift:7:00 pm – 7:10 am on a standard 3-2-2 schedule
