Job Title: Mechanical Technician

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain and repair all mechanical facilities and physical structures throughout the plant, including pumps, boilers, air systems, water systems, and reactors.
2. Use hand and power tools to perform maintenance tasks.
3. Diagnose problems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble intricate mechanisms and machines.
4. Install, adjust, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify various electrical and mechanical equipment, including electrical controls, PLCs, and instrumentation.
5. Perform repairs on buildings, roofs, structures, and furniture.
6. Assist technicians and perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED required; additional education or certifications preferred.
• Availability for mandatory overtime and weekend work.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical assessment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Work experience in areas such as Arc welding, MIG welding, TIG welding, Stick welding, PLCs, electrical systems, VFDs, HVAC, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes; ability to demonstrate proficiency through testing.
