Job summary

Inframark is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Oklahoma City area Operations & Maintenance team. You will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, belt presses, piping, and other mechanical equipment at a water/wastewater facility.

Starting pay ranges from $23.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. This full-time role may require rotating/on-call coverage and weekend/evening shifts to maintain

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial, mechanical, equipment, or plant maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and identify maintenance issues.
• Ability to read and follow equipment manuals, operating instructions, work orders, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, belt presses, and other industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Inframark is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our Operations & Maintenance team in the Oklahoma City, OK area.

This is a hands‑on mechanical maintenance position supporting a water/wastewater facility. You will inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test a variety of industrial pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, belt presses, piping, and other mechanical equipment.

This opportunity is a strong fit for candidates with backgrounds in industrial maintenance, mechanical maintenance, millwright work, manufacturing maintenance, utility maintenance, water/wastewater maintenance, or equipment repair.

Starting pay is $23.00$26.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Candidates with significant relevant experience may qualify for a higher starting rate.

What You'll Do

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will help keep critical water/wastewater treatment equipment operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, belt presses, and other industrial equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime
• Diagnose mechanical equipment problems and determine appropriate repairs
• Perform routine equipment testing, including vibration analysis and other non‑destructive testing methods
• Assist the Lead Maintenance Technician with equipment repairs, maintenance projects, and installations
• Prepare, install, and repair piping and fabricated supports
• Perform metal fabrication and cutting as needed
• Perform welding, brazing, and soldering as required
• Prepare tools, equipment, rigs, and materials for daily maintenance activities
• Assist with equipment installation, removal, alignment, and repair
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, lifting equipment, and other maintenance equipment
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Follow company safety policies, environmental requirements, and standard operating procedures
• Participate in rotating/on‑call coverage, including weekends, holidays, evenings, or other shifts as needed
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of industrial, mechanical, equipment, or plant maintenance experience, or equivalent technical training
• Valid driver's license
• Working knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and identify maintenance issues
• Ability to read and follow equipment manuals, operating instructions, work orders, and safety procedures
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet-based applications
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple maintenance tasks, and complete assignments with minimal supervision
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in water/wastewater treatment, utilities, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or plant maintenance
• Experience maintaining pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, belt presses, or similar rotating equipment
• Millwright or industrial mechanic experience
• Mechanical maintenance technician experience
• Class B CDL
• Welding, brazing, or fabrication experience
• Experience with vibration analysis or other equipment testing
• Experience with rigging, cranes, hoists, or material‑handling equipment
• Forklift certification or experience
• SCBA or confined‑space training
• Experience working in confined spaces
• Technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, welding, or a related field

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands‑on industrial maintenance position.

You must be able to:

• Frequently lift and move 5060 pounds
• Load, unload, and move tools, equipment, and materials
• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Climb stairs, ladders, and equipment
• Work in and access confined spaces
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
• Perform physically demanding maintenance and repair activities
• Safely work around mechanical equipment and active treatment processes
