The Industrial Maintenance Technician will work for a manufacturing company and has career growth potential. This is a full-time position with 40+ hours per week.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Compensation

• The pay for this position is $34.10 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Industrial Maintenance Technician Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Industrial Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

• Perform routine setup, operation, minor and major routine maintenance, preventative maintenance (PM), and troubleshooting of highly complex/automated manufacturing equipment
• Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance (including preventive), repairs, adjustments, inspection, and monitoring of production and/or facilities-related equipment and machinery
• Prioritize daily work assignments to meet production needs and department goals
• Responsible for preventive maintenance scheduling, completion of work orders, and tasks as assigned
• Support installation, removal, and corrective maintenance of equipment
• Perform mechanical changes and operator-level preventive maintenance
• Assist with root-cause analysis activities for process or product exceptions
• Ensure accurate documentation of all relevant quality, safety, and maintenance documents

Industrial Maintenance Technician Requirements

• Very familiar with hydraulics, controls, sensors, vacuum systems, motors, etc.
• Good understanding of electronics and temperature controllers
• Knowledge of sensor technologies, pneumatic cylinders (flow controls), and basic math
• Ability to understand what a servo motor does and why it operates the way it does
• Safety-conscious mindset and familiarity with safety protocols
• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in relevant fields (Electrical/Electromechanical/Mechanical Engineering Technician, Industrial Technician, etc.) or 4 years of relevant experience

• How does a temperature controller work and in what ways can it fail?
• To control the speed of an air cylinder during its extend stroke, should a flow control be placed on the extend port or the retract port? Why?
• Does it matter which way the flow control is installed? Why?
