ManpowerGroup, on behalf of its client Industrial Manufacturing, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production operations in Brookshire, TX. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, safety, and keeping equipment running to minimize downtime.

Expect 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience and strong PLC/robotics familiarity. The position requires day-to-day coverage, weekend/holiday work as needed, and collaboration with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial equipment and automation or equivalent experience.
• Strong Siemens PLC experience highly desired.
• Fanuc robot experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with electrical/electronics, mechanical/machining, and automation/PLC/robotics; familiarity with Atlas Copco and laser welding/dispense systems is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot automation, conveyance, electromechanical, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems; ability to read basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics; strong English skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day coverage for production line equipment by responding to alarms, breakdowns, and requests quickly to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and communicate actions taken to the team so production can recover fast.
• Improve preventive maintenance documents and schedules under supervision.
• Perform major equipment repairs and rebuilds, with some weekends and holidays required.
• Use MES, spares inventory, and issue tracking while partnering with Process and Equipment Engineering to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

Job description

Our client, Industrial Manufacturing is seeking a Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance team supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a safety-first mindset, and the drive to keep equipment running—so you can help reduce downtime and support reliable manufacturing.

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Brookshire, TX

Pay Range: $39hr

Shift: 5p-5am

What's the Job?

• Provide day-to-day coverage for production line equipment by responding to alarms, breakdowns, and production requests quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.

• Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and communicate actions taken to the team so production can recover fast.

• Take initiative to improve preventive maintenance (PM) documents and schedules under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Leads.

• Perform major equipment repairs and rebuilds, with some weekends and holidays required.

• Use manufacturing systems effectively (MES, spares inventory, and issue tracking) while partnering with Process and Equipment Engineering and cross-functional teams to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial equipment and automation, or experience as an Automotive Technician, or technical military experience in lieu of a degree, or equivalent experience.

• Strong Siemens PLC experience highly desired.

• Fanuc robot experience is a plus.

• Familiarity with electrical/electronics, mechanical/machining, and/or automation/PLC/robotics; experience with Atlas Copco, laser welding & dispense systems is a plus.

• Ability to troubleshoot automation, conveyance, electromechanical, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems; ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics; must have command of English language, both written and verbal.
