Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Industrial Maintenance Technician role based in Broken Arrow, OK. The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient production. Daily activities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, and replacing or adjusting components as needed. The role also involves collaborating with production and engineering teams, documenting maintenance activities, following established safety procedures, and suggesting improvements to equipment reliability and maintenance processes. The technician will work with tools, diagnostic equipment, and computerized maintenance systems while adhering to company quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial machinery repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Working knowledge of basic electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and related industrial controls.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as schematics, equipment manuals, and maintenance work orders.
- Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, measurement instruments, and diagnostic equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, including lockout/tagout procedures and safe equipment operation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across maintenance, production, and engineering teams.
- Organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple maintenance requests, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electro-mechanical technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance is highly beneficial; experience in HVAC or air movement equipment is a plus.
- Willingness to work assigned shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends as production and maintenance needs require.
