Job summary

Arcwood Environmental is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment in a safety-conscious environment. You will perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance while reading manuals and drawings to diagnose issues.

Responsibilities include emergency repairs, machinist duties as needed, and adapting to flexible hours to support operations.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree in industrial maintenance preferred.
• 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience required.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and drawings.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
• Performs preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities
• Utilizes mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• When necessary, provides emergency / unscheduled repairs to equipment
• Completes foundational machinist duties as needed
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and drawings
• Diagnoses equipment issues, completes testing and repairs or replaces parts to make necessary adjustments
• Detects faulty operations or defective materials and reports those or any unusual operating situations to proper supervision
• Maintains the ability to work flexible hours or overtime based on business needs
• Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization

Education

Experience

• 1+ years of industrial maintenance (hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical) experience or completion of craft apprenticeship (required)
• Previous fabrication and welding experience (preferred)
