Job description

Principle Accountabilities

1. Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment including replacing motors, relays, and switches on varied machinery up to and including three-phase 480-volt energy.
2. Performs preventive maintenance and maintains records to ensure safe, reliable equipment.
3. Serves as point person for production personnel regarding preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
4. Diagnoses and repairs forklifts, pumps, hydraulics, and other related equipment.
5. Maintains and refills parts inventory.
6. Provides prompt response to and resolution of unplanned equipment failures to minimize production downtime.
7. Communicates effectively with machine operators and supervisors about equipment issues, safety concerns, and infractions.
8. Properly utilizes Personal Protective Equipment.
9. Troubleshoots and resolves equipment issues efficiently.
10. Performs related tasks as requested by supervisor.

Essential Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Extensive knowledge in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, circuitry, PLC, AC/DC drivers, and welding fabrication.
• Intermediate math, computer skills, and proficiency in English communication.
• Demonstrates proper usage of personal protective equipment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 70 lbs., and work in hot environments.
• Ability to meet objectives and deadlines with minimal supervision.
