General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), based in Springboro, OH, is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift weekend 12-hour schedule (5:00 AM – 5:30 PM).

The role involves maintaining facility and production equipment, with responsibilities including inspections, lubrication, repairs, and safety adherence. The technician will work on CNC lathes, presses, ovens, paint booths, winding machines, and related lines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of CMMS and data entry.
• Root cause analysis to determine the cause of breakdowns and implement countermeasures.
• Forklift and aerial lift certification obtainable.
• Industrial maintenance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) and inspections on facility/production equipment.
• Perform routine inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and repairs on machinery and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Adhere to all safety and company policies.
• Follow PM schedules and document activities.
