Job summary

Goodyear CTSC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment, hydraulic and compressed air systems, and electrical controls in a Goodyear CTSC Tire facility. You will work in a manufacturing environment performing preventative maintenance, installing new equipment, and upholding strict safety standards.

Candidates should have 3 years of maintenance experience or related vocational training and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience or 2-year vocational training in industrial maintenance.
Electrical and electronic troubleshooting experience – ability to work with 24VDC to 500VAC.
Pipe fitting experience and compressor/hydraulic experience.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Repair out of service or improperly working equipment in a timely manner to limit downtime.
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment using a timely schedule.
Maintain and operate the plant steam, air and hydraulic systems in a safe and efficient way.
Install new equipment.
Comply with all safety and liability guidelines and policies.
Use protective safety equipment to ensure safe operation of machines.
