Job summary

Tempur Sealy International is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our Plainfield, IN facility. The role involves setting up/installing, servicing and repairing sewing machines, computer-controlled machinery, conveyors, and building utilities.

Qualifications

Two years maintenance experience in an industrial production environment.
Background in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, adjust and maintain and install machinery to support quality and production targets.
Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance work to reduce machine downtime.
Repair, set up, or install equipment for operators tuning either mechanically or by changing parameters on Human Machine Interface.
Assemble and test machinery to make sure it is safe and operational before placing back into production.
Perform building maintenance.
Organize and/or stock raw materials in the work area and follow housekeeping requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
