Job summary

Dorman Products in Harrisburg, PA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain a wide range of equipment, troubleshoot complex systems, and improve reliability. Applicants should have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and be proficient with CMMS and diagnostic tools.

The role requires a high school diploma with preferred technical certification and at least 5 years in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
Minimum 5 years in industrial maintenance environment.
Ability to read manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a wide range of machinery to maximize uptime.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools.
Conduct repairs, replacements, and adjustments per manufacturer specs and safety standards.
Collaborate with production/engineering to plan maintenance schedules with minimal disruption.
Maintain maintenance records of repairs, parts, and time spent for compliance and improvements.
Participate in safety audits and promote a culture of safety across the facility.
Suggest and implement maintenance process improvements to reduce costs.
Stay updated on technology and best practices via ongoing training.
