Job summary

Architectural Fabrication, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to oversee preventative and corrective maintenance of production equipment and facilities. The role includes diagnosing faults, repairing machines, and coordinating third-party contractors to keep operations efficient and safe.

Primary focus on equipment and machinery maintenance with secondary facility upkeep. Strong emphasis on 5S/OSHA standards, documentation, and proactive maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in equipment troubleshooting and facility repair/maintenance.
• Understand, troubleshoot, and repair machine electrical components (PLC, VFDs, motors).
• Understand, troubleshoot, and repair machine mechanical components (bearings, drives, seals).
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance planning and implementation.
• Strong computer skills and organized time management.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical/electrical failures on fabrication equipment.
• Maintain and repair forklifts, scissor lifts, and sky tracks.
• Execute and improve the preventative maintenance program.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and comply with 5S/OSHA standards.
• Serve as on-site point of contact for contractors (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
