Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation's Hydraulic & Aerospace Filtration Division (HAFD) in Greensboro, NC, seeks a Maintenance I to provide plant and facility maintenance support. You will troubleshoot electrical, controls, and mechanical systems on production machinery and building systems.

Responsibilities include general maintenance tasks, PLC/robotic/HMI communication, preventive maintenance, and parts coordination.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Two years technical degree or six years experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, operating and maintenance manuals.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Vision: 20/25 with or without correction; reading manuals and gauges.
• Physical: able to lift 50 pounds and handle moderate to heavy exertion.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, communication and controls maintenance on plant equipment; diagnose mechanical issues.
• Maintain general building and equipment tasks including plumbing, carpentry, sheet metal and fabrication.
• Weld and use metal cutting equipment as needed.
• Safe handling of electrical equipment up to 480V and PLC, robotic, HMI systems.
• Troubleshoot machine faults, identify parts, and submit requisitions.
• Disassemble and rebuild electrical and mechanical units and machines.
• Operate maintenance tools and equipment; keep department clean.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and collaborate with outside services.
