Job summary

International Paper seeks a Maintenance Journeyman Level 1 at the Vicksburg Mill in Redwood, MS. The role supports journeymen in routine maintenance, with paid training through a global program and opportunities for promotion within an industrial setting.

You will work Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, in an on-site environment with exposure to industrial conditions and safety protocols. Candidates must meet safety, testing, and health assessment requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the US.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years in MILLWRIGHT, MACHINIST, WELDING, or PIPEFITTING.
• Must pass online tests, interviews, safety trainings, and drug/health screens.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeymen in routine maintenance and other duties as assigned.
• Install, align, repair, and refurbish machinery and equipment.
• Read blueprints, use measurement tools, and troubleshoot issues.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other industrial equipment.
