Job summary

The Maintenance Technician II at Reddy Ice is a journeyman level maintenance professional responsible for the reliable operation of plant manufacturing systems and facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, use correct tools, and complete small property repairs to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• 6 years minimum in an industrial maintenance operation.
• Maintenance certifications from listed authorities are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform repairs as needed.
• Operate equipment to improve processing times and reduce downtime.
• Work nights, weekends and occasional travel may be required.

Education

8+ years of experience in industrial maintenance

Maintenance Certification – Journeyman Electrician/Plumbing/Mechanical

Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator - R.E.T.A.

Certified Maintenance Technician Level III - IMI
