Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support an industrial laundry facility in Cumberland, MD. Responsibilities include repairing, maintaining and troubleshooting heavy equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with service teams to ensure safe, efficient operation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, reads English maintenance literature, can read blueprints, and holds a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment (washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, boilers).
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and housekeeping.
• Maintain inventory and prepare maintenance records.
• Coordinate with inside/outside service teams and respond to alarms.
• Mentor Maintenance Technician I colleagues.
