Job summary

Cintas Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for the 2nd shift at the Knoxville, TN facility. You will repair, maintain and troubleshoot washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, boilers and related systems while performing preventive maintenance and safety tasks.

The role requires hands-on welding, boiler chemical testing, and coordination with service providers. Prior experience in industrial environments is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment, systems and components including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and perform welding activities as needed.
• Conduct boiler chemical testing and adjust chemistry as required.
• Address safety concerns and ensure housekeeping and organization of work areas.
• Maintain inventory supplies and prepare maintenance records; coordinate work with service companies.
• Respond to emergency alarms and mentor Maintenance Technician I partners.
