Job summary

Flowers Baking Co. of Houston, LLC is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure bakery equipment runs safely and efficiently.

The role involves preventive maintenance, lubrication, and troubleshooting across multiple systems in a fast-paced bakery environment. You will work with HVAC, electrical, welding, and industrial equipment, using SAP for parts checkout and data entry, while following all safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a technician.
• Experience in HVAC, electrical, welding, or related industrial trades.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, maintenance tasks, and general knowledge of support equipment
• Perform proper component lubrication and conduct preventive maintenance on specific equipment
• Identify mechanical wear and identify, troubleshoot, and replace mechanical drive and conveyor components
• Use SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and general data entry
• Practice learned knowledge of environmental and maintenance programs
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
• Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures
• Possess or attain licenses required by municipal/state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and various other job-related equipment
