Brewer Science, Inc. in Dayton, OH is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Specialist I or II to maintain and repair plant equipment in a chemical manufacturing setting.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on compressors, pumps, water systems, and utility hookups while supporting safety and 5S programs. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installation, welding and fabrication tasks, and accurate maintenance documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 2+ years related experience.
• Associate’s or vocational degree in industrial maintenance technology, electrical, electronics, controls, or related field, or
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on plant equipment including vacuum pumps, air compressors, dryers and water systems.
• Assist with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems for HVAC and process utilities.
• Support general maintenance tasks like small construction, space remodels, and routine repairs.
• Maintain documentation of completed tasks and parts used.
• Follow safety policies and use hand and power tools proficiently.
• Assist with office moves, remodeling, and facility upkeep.
