Job summary

TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install, and modify building systems, machinery, and facility equipment across our Round Rock facility. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and support HVAC, electrical, fire protection, lighting, and security systems.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
3–5 years of related Maintenance Technician experience and/or training.
Technical training in electrical and mechanical systems.
Willingness to attend qualified training programs as required.

Responsibilities

Analyze faulty equipment and identify causes of malfunctions; repair and return to service.
Conduct diagnostic testing and inspect machinery for signs of malfunction.
Consult with supervisors and operators to diagnose issues and resolve problems.
Dismantle defective machinery and install new or repaired parts.
Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and components.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
Install and repair electrical equipment, transformers, wiring and components.
Assemble, install, and maintain piping, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
