Job summary

Cintas Corporation seeks a Maintenance Technician I for the 3rd shift at the Bedford Park, IL facility. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and boilers, while supporting preventive maintenance and safety initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of relevant experience, can read English maintenance literature and blueprints, and can stand long periods. High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment (washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, boilers).
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and upkeep of maintenance records.
• Support housekeeping and safety compliance.
• Monitor and manage maintenance inventory.
