Job summary

Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company, is hiring Maintenance Technicians to perform a wide range of maintenance on equipment, trucks, and the facility. You must troubleshoot electrical, plumbing and mechanical issues, train others, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Shifts are 2nd or 3rd on a straight 5-8 schedule, with opportunities for overtime. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, forklift certification, and at least three years of semi-skilled maintenance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Forklift Certified.
• At least three years of semi-skilled maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate verbally with co-workers to keep a safe working environment.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to complete tasks.
• Lift parts on/off carts, floors, or shelves.
• Inspect and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical problems.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, tow motors and other facility vehicles safely.
