Specialty Foods Group, LLC in Owensboro, KY is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support production by minimizing downtime and handling preventative and corrective maintenance in a world-class facility.

The role requires experience in industrial maintenance, knowledge of electrical systems, and the ability to read schematics. You will work with various equipment in a demanding environment and may occasionally perform light electrical tasks and overtime.

Formación

• Industrial maintenance degree preferred; high school diploma with 3-5 years of experience will be considered.
• 1-2 years in an industrial maintenance role.
• Knowledge of 110-, 220- and 480-volt electrical systems.
• Experience with mechanical drives, chain drives, and conveyors.
• Ability to read prints, schematics and company documents.
• Willingness for overtime, including weekends when needed.
• Basic machine alignment using precision instruments.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and gear boxes.
• Comfort working in extreme environments and maintaining safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Provide immediate response to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on meat processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with facility equipment and tools.
• Perform minor electrical work not requiring a licensed electrician (bulbs, fuses, breakers).
• Take on additional duties as needed.
