Job summary

Kyocera International, Inc. in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of production equipment and facility systems.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving mechanical and electrical problems and making a direct impact on production. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems.
• Detail-oriented and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting production equipment and facility systems, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
• Support routine and monthly preventative maintenance to help keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
• Respond to facility and office maintenance requests and document work using SAP and Outlook.
• Partner with maintenance technicians, engineers, production teams, and department supervisors to address equipment needs and minimize disruptions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment through daily, weekly, and monthly 5S activities.
• Identify and promptly report safety concerns, equipment issues, or maintenance needs.
• Work with outside service vendors as needed.
• Learn new equipment, procedures, and maintenance skills while assisting with a variety of machines, production lines, and facility projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
