Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe and reliable operation of industrial equipment. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery and support systems while following safety protocols.

The role requires climbing ladders and working in confined spaces, with forklift certification preferred. Candidates should have 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience and working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical concepts.

Qualifications

2+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial setting.
Experience working on electrical systems up to 480 volts.
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical concepts.
Experience using shop equipment with wood, metal or sheet metal.
Good troubleshooting skills.
Ability to climb ladders.
Ability to work in confined spaces for long periods.
Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot machinery, equipment, and pipe systems.
Inspect and test machinery to detect wear and misalignment.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor.
Interact professionally with contractors on site and elevate issues to leadership as needed.
