Job summary

Armstrong World Industries in Hilliard, Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support industrial manufacturing equipment. Under supervision, you will perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on lines, ensuring safety and quality in a 24/5 operation.

The role requires at least 2 years of industrial maintenance, ability to work third shift, and overtime flexibility. Starting pay ranges from $33.85 to $48.57 per hour, with a $1.00 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education preferred.
• At least 2 years maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Ability to read/interpret schematics and ladder diagrams.
• Willingness to work third shift and overtime when needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a dusty environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive, and lubrication work orders.
• Respond to line calls and diagnose equipment issues quickly.
• Follow up on repair work orders and safety, quality, cost improvements.
• Attend required training and work outside normal hours as scheduled.
• Safely maintain industrial electro/mechanical equipment.
