Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Franklin, MA to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on production machinery and blow mold equipment. You will ensure GMP compliance and support plant operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing blow mold systems, performing tooling changes, inspecting hoses, valves and pumps, and conducting preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills and computer literacy for maintenance tasks.
• 2+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.
• OSHA forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace hoses, valves, and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
• Troubleshoot and repair blow mold, baggers & support equipment.
• Operate blow mold or injection machines when needed.
• Communicate with other departments regularly.
• Duties may vary by plant; follow Lead Technician or Supervisor instructions.
• Assist with unusual problems; apply professional judgment.
• Overtime may be required as needed.
