Fresh Mark, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure reliable operation of conveyors, machines, and production lines at our Canton, Ohio facility.

The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor fabrication using shop tools in a refrigerated environment. The successful candidate will be mechanically inclined, capable of lifting up to 40 lbs, and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude is required.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on motors and production equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in refrigerated environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery by following preventive maintenance procedures and manuals.
• Observe equipment in operation, identify problems, and use measuring tools to troubleshoot.
• Remove defective parts using hoists, cranes and hand/power tools.
• Check dimensions with calipers/micrometers to ensure parts meet spec.
• Adjust devices and control instruments as needed.
• Minimize downtime by maintaining equipment integrity and complying with safety procedures.
• Fabricate repair parts using shop instrumentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment per SOPs.
• Contribute to team efforts and support production goals.
• Adhere to authorized work eligibility and safety requirements.
