Job summary

Foley Materials Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a safety-conscious environment. The role requires following company procedures and performing a diverse set of maintenance tasks to support operations.

You will work with welding, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics and air systems, reading manuals and using diagnostic meters to ensure equipment reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• The candidate should be skilled in welding, mechanical work, electrical systems and diagnostics.
• Experience with plant maintenance and safety procedures is required.
• Ability to read operating manuals and follow technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Construct, assemble, troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant equipment safely.
• Perform maintenance including welding, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics and air systems.
• Maintain complex systems such as feed, conveying, scrubber, shaker, classifying, weight and electrical systems.
• Inspect equipment per schedule and document findings.
• Use manuals, diagnostic meters and hand tools for repairs.
• Fabricate parts using welding and oxy/acetylene tools.
• Operate heavy equipment for production tasks when required.

Up to $30 per hour

Purpose: The Maintenance Technician is responsiblefor performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot,repair and maintain production and facility equipment according toCompany safety procedures to support business goals and objectives.

What You Will Do:

• Construct, assemble, troubleshoot, repair, maintain all plantequipment in a safe and timely manner.
• Perform all maintenance operations (welding, mechanical,electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, air systems, etc.) in accordancewith technical specifications and safety regulations.
• Maintain equipment such as feed systems, conveying systems,scrubber systems, shaker systems, classifying systems, weightsystems, electrical systems, crusher systems, hydraulic systems,pneumatic systems, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Inspect equipment in accordance with the company prescribedinspection schedule and complete equipment inspection and reports.
• Read / understand operating manuals for plant machinery.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment (meters), and hand tools.
• Be proficient with fabrication tools (welding, oxy/acetyl torch) required.
• Other duties as required to include heavy equipment operation forproduction tasks.
