About the Role
Maintenance Technician – Use blueprints, schematics, power tools, and electronic test equipment to perform maintenance and troubleshoot a variety of industrial equipment, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
What you’ll do
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment such as motors, conveyors, mechanical components, and electrical wiring.
- Diagnose and correct issues on single‑phase / 240 V equipment.
- Follow all safety rules and practices and participate in safety committees or initiatives.
- Integrate sustainability into daily practices and promote a results‑driven culture aligned with long‑term value creation.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant maintenance experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong diagnostic skills and experience with troubleshooting equipment.
- Successful completion of a job‑related online skills assessment.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
- Clear, explicit verbal communication skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
Working Conditions
- Plant, warehouse, production, and non‑production areas and plant grounds.
- May be required to work beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to tolerate high and low temperatures and loud noise typical of a manufacturing plant.
- Schedule is subject to change.
