Job summary

Hoehn Plastics, Inc. is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Industrial Maintenance Support Technician to join our Maintenance team.

This developmental, hands‑on position builds skills in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, electrical systems, and welding/fabrication. You’ll work alongside experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians while supporting preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and fabrication across our manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance and repair experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and basic technical docs.
• Experience in manufacturing or maintenance environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain shredders, grinders, material processing systems, and related equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks: cleaning, lubrication, inspections, component replacement.
• Assist with forklift, trailer, and material-handling equipment maintenance and inspections.
• Prepare tools and materials for maintenance and fabrication work.
• Assist welding and fabrication, including cutting, grinding, fitting, and prep.
• Support fabrication of guards, brackets, frames and components.
• Interpret basic drawings, sketches, and work instructions.
• Use computerized work-order system for task tracking and updates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and follow lockout/tagout rules.
