Job summary

Orion Steel Group, L.L.C. in the United States seeks an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor, Mechanical to lead maintenance in a heavy industrial steel facility.

You will supervise mechanical/electrical technicians, drive reliability, safety, and asset performance across rolling mills and casting operations. The ideal candidate has extensive leadership in maintenance, experience in 24/7 environments, and collaboration with Production, Engineering, Reliability, and Safety teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive maintenance leadership experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Strong background in mechanical systems, reliability and safety.
• Experience supervising 24/7 operations and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Provide technical leadership across mechanical systems maintenance.
• Oversee hydraulic, pneumatic, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors and cranes.
• Coordinate outages, rebuilds, and major maintenance projects.
• Direct resources during emergencies and ensure preventive maintenance.
