Job summary

Arconic in Lafayette, IN seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead preventive maintenance programs and oversee project execution across a manufacturing site. You will develop PM schedules, coordinate engineers and projects from start to finish, allocate resources, manage budgets and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.

Relocation assistance is available, and travel is under 25%. The ideal candidate holds a BS in Facility Management or Engineering with 5+ years of manufacturing leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• US work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.
• Must be eligible to access controlled technology per EAR/ITAR; U.S. citizenship or eligible for authorization.

Responsibilities

• Develop Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and procedures.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise engineers and projects from inception to completion.
• Allocate resources including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with union leadership and employees.
• Manage maintenance supervisors with coaching, feedback, training and performance evaluations.
• Estimate costs and prepare budgets for maintenance and repair activities.
• Schedule maintenance tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety regulations and building codes.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during projects or maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance and project supplies and equipment.
